My wife and I visited Saratoga, New York in the Summer of 2017. I had never been there before, not even for one of the legendary bottle shows held at Ballston Spa. Saratoga is a great place to visit and it has a lot to offer; the lake, the horses, the track, a beautiful downtown, plenty of nice places to eat, good hotels and oh yes - the springs, many of which are still operating today. Tasting is free but be careful, some are for just that 'tasting' not 'drinking' like the tasteless spring water we are accustomed to. The waters at Saratoga have varying amounts of minerals and some even have some natural carbonation. The springs are spread all over town, most are in Congress Park, as is the Museum and there are plenty more in Saratoga Springs State Park just outside of town. It makes for a great visit any time of the year.
