I found this cannon ball at the Old Spye Inn, on Morgan Creek, Morgan, NJ after it burned to the ground. This ball was found in a depression, next to the foundation, in the back of the building, probably below a kitchen window. The depression was about 3 feet round and 2 feet deep and a bit deeper in the middle. The ball was in the very bottom and covered with broken Morgan Pottery dinnerware. Its likely that this is a Rev War ball.
