Jerry Pevahouse
Jerry Pevahouse has been collecting bottles for longer than I have. He's lived in Cranbury, NJ for as long as I've known him. Jerry was nice enough to send me enough photos, in March of 2021, of him, his brother Ron and their friends in Tennessee and New Jersey, to create this photo album.

Most strange occurrence, a cistern found out in corn field. I walk across the field when possible to the woods. One day noticed a hole, and found there was an open cavity underneath. Scary, since I could have stepped into an open cistern about 8 or 10 feet deep. Notified the farmers who came and filled it in. It had been capped with concrete long ago and the concrete was beginning to break from the weight of tractors, opening up the cavity. It is brick lined and empty as far as i could see. Have no idea why it was dug there about 200 ft out in the field? When we moved here about 25 years ago found three very nice Victorian dumps within sight of the house which kept me busy several years. There is an 1870s household dump in the edge of the woods in the distance in this photo. None of those dumps had ever been discovered by diggers though in basically plain sight.
