These clock cases were recovered above the Yellow Cab Company building at the foot of Easton Avenue at Albany Street across from the train station. A sealed attic was exposed and it must have been the small warehouse for a clock repair shop. I never saw so many old clocks and all free for the taking! There were clock and pocket watch faces thrown about all over the floor. A McDonalds was built on this site. The remainder of the site was for a new parking deck and it was the size of half a city block. Many c1850 and much earlier privies were dug there.
