&S, Frank Stubbins & Harrry Deemer, Contemporary Reproduction of the Wm. Pogue Jar
The Pogue Jar was the first glass canning jar made in Bridgeton, New Jersey in 1856. The mold was made by Malcolm Jones of Pennsville, New Jersey. The jars were made (1998-2011), Frank Stubbins recorded ninety-six (96) jars made in aqua, cornflower blue, cobalt blue, emerald green, and olive green colors. Photo and Info credit to Tom Haunton.
